Table Notes – My Real-Life Cooking Notebook

Balanced, fast, and flexible recipes I actually make — not perfect, just real.

October 6, 2025

Table Notes isn’t a “food blog.”
It’s where I keep track of what I actually eat — recipes I’ve adapted to be simpler, cheaper, or just healthier with what I already have.

I don’t cook to impress anyone; I cook to make my life easier.
Most recipes here started as something I found online or from someone else’s kitchen — I just made them fit mine.

Sometimes I calculate calories, sometimes I just try to keep things balanced: proteins, carbs, fats, and a little sweetness that makes sense.
It’s not about restriction — it’s about feeling good with what I have and learning to eat better every day.

Ingredients
Steps
  1. Look at what you already have — no extra grocery trips if possible.
  2. Adjust the recipe to fit your mood, time, or budget.
  3. Cook without pressure; taste as you go.
  4. Note the calories only if it helps you keep balance, not guilt.
Notes
  • Every recipe includes approximate calories or at least a nutritional sense.
  • I simplify traditional meals to make them fit busy days.
  • I test everything myself, so if it’s here, it worked.
  • These recipes are not about diet culture — they’re about control, comfort, and balance.
